Novo Group’s Senior Planner, Hamish Anderson and Landscape Architect, Anne Wilkins as well as the KiwiRail project team (Holmes Consulting, HEB, Tonkin + Taylor, Fulton Hogan and United Civil) are celebrating recent project success with resource consent granted for the North Auckland Line Bridge Replacement project.
Novo Group were engaged by KiwiRail in 2019 to provide planning and landscape input as well as managing landowner negotiations.
“It has been a great opportunity to assist KiwiRail in the development and future proofing of the North Auckland Line from Helensville to Oakleigh” Hamish said.
Despite level 4 lockdown, the project team remained focused on achieving a successful outcome and overcame any potential logistical challenges through a continued collaborative approach. Hamish credits Northland Regional, Whangarei District and Auckland Councils for being responsive and pragmatic throughout the process.
KiwiRail programme directors acknowledged Hamish as an excellent member of the project team noting his perseverance and commitment.
The North Auckland Line bridge replacement project is due to be completed in late 2020.
