Congratulations to our Principal Landscape Architect Anne Wilkins, for winning the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects ‘Tuia Pito Ora/Brick Bay Nohonga’ design challenge.
The design explored “Connection versus Isolation” which played with the new spatial awareness of social distancing, digital framing and media. The corten steel laser-cut frame and jet-blasted concrete base, explores framing of the landscape and changes of perspective.
The competition ran through March – June, with the finalists announced at a special NZILA event in Britomart on Wednesday, to be built in Auckland later this year.
Many thanks to all the sponsors Resene, NZILA, Viva, Britomart, BrickBay, Nohonga
